7 Beneficial Christmas Desserts

There is so much we love about Christmas, but if you ask me I’ll always say desserts! So while chocolate isn’t something we should eat every day I have discovered 7 desserts that won’t leave me feeling guilty after I eat them!

I’ve also tweaked some of the recipes for an even tastier result! Enjoy!

  1. Holiday Rice Krispie Treats

I have been addicted to rice krispie treats since I was little, so how could I resist the opportunity to share this festive recipe! It’s a quick and easy recipe that can be served as a dessert or a snack. For this recipe, I switched the butter and used Kelapo Ghee instead.

  1. Peppermint Ice Cream Cake

Yes, you read that right! This ice cream cake is made with peppermint making it perfect for the holidays. Do you want to know what the best part is? By using an egg substitute and low-fat ice cream the saturated fat and cholesterol has been cut by half! I have also replaced the butter with Kelapo Ghee! Now, I don’t recommend you eat the entire cake by yourself but 1 or 2 pieces should definitely satisfy your cravings.

  1. Mini Date-Nut Snowballs

This easy no-bake recipe will definitely give you the feeling of Christmas. The unsweetened shredded coconut will leave you wanting for more, so why not have a few more?

  1. Chocolate Peppermint Paleo Macaroons Christmas Cookies

I know the name is a mouthful, but need I say more? This gluten free and vegan recipe is right up my alley but purely because it has chocolate. Best part about this recipe is that I got to use our Kelapo Coconut Oil.

  1. Chocolate Cranberry Christmas Mini Cakes

These mini cakes are a must have at your Christmas party this year! They’re gluten and nut free yet extremely delicious! Whoever said “eating right didn’t feel good” was way off when it comes to this recipe. Plus, anyone with a nut or gluten allergy will appreciate that you’ve whipped up these mini cakes.

  1. Vegan Gingerbread Cookies

Vegan lovers, I have not forgotten about you! This recipe will leave your mouth as happy as can be! Remember to use Kelapo Coconut Oil on this cookie recipe!

  1. Raw Coconut Ginger Amaretto Bites

These had to make it to the list because they’re my grandmother’s favorite. I try to make them every year and am happy to say she’ll be here to eat them again this Christmas. I mainly use fresh ground cinnamon and Kelapo Coconut Oil for this recipe, so be sure to add those to your shopping lists.

I hope you find these recipes as delightful as I do. Give us more ideas by commenting below!

Happy baking everyone!
