Bananas Foster Protein Shake
Bananas Foster Protein Shake
Bananas foster is one of my favorite desserts; however, after one too many the calories start to add up! I decided to take this sweet treat and recreate it into a healthy protein shake. This creation has now been my ultimate go to post-workout shake!
Here’s what you’ll need:
1 banana
1 scoop of vanilla protein (I used Gold Standard’s Vanilla Ice Cream Whey
Protein)
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 teaspoons sugar-free carmel flavoring syrup
1 teaspoon Kelapo Coconut oil
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Ice
Directions:
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until all ice is crushed.
Serve and enjoy!
I love adding coconut oil into my protein shakes to give me an added energy boost after a strenuous workout!
How do you like to use coconut oil?
