Gameday Snack Mix
This totally addictive snack mix will satisfy a sofa full of Cheeseheads, Bills Backers, Hogettes, or Who Dat Nation (whatever you say, Wikipedia) and won’t take more than a commercial break to whip together. Just don’t be surprised if it’s gone by third down, whatever the heck that means.
Gameday Snack Mix Recipe
Recipe Ingredients
2 cups unsalted mixed nuts (I recommend pecans, cashews, and peanuts)
1 Tbsp Kelapo coconut oil, melted
2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp each garlic powder and onion powder
3/4 tsp salt
1 bag (3.5 oz) microwave popcorn
2 cups each baked cheese snacks, pretzel snaps and wasabi peas
Ingredients
Heat oven to 350°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil.
Toss nuts with coconut oil, spread on sheet. Mix smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and salt in small bowl. Sprinkle 1 tsp over nuts.
Bake 8 minutes until nuts are toasted and fragrant.
Meanwhile microwave popcorn as package directs. Immediately pour into a large bowl, add remaining paprika mixture and toss to coat. Stir in remaining ingredients. Enjoy! Just don’t ask me who won the game.
