As a typical Pinterest browser I recently discovered a delicious recipe for “fried bananas”. I’m not a huge banana fan but my son loves bananas, so I like finding new recipes for him to try. Perfect Latkes

I have to say, I was nervous the first time I ever made latkes for Dave. He grew up eating them from his grandmother – so I had a lot to live up to. Latkes are a potato pancake eaten in particular at celebrations in the Jewish faith. Today is Yom Kippur, and while many are fasting in observance of this High Holiday, I wanted to share with you my recipe. We have reached the point in the season where there is no longer immunity, which means we are almost to the end!  By now we should only be seeing top rate dishes, but tonight that may not be the case.
