Top Summer Vacation Spots

Summer vacation is here and it’s time to start thinking about that family or solo trip idea you’ve been wanting to do since last year. Most people will tell you that you’re too late to plan a trip but that’s not necessarily true! An affordable trip can be just as fun as a luxurious one. It all has to do with how you plan it! I’ve read many travel articles about hundreds of affordable cities and countries to travel to. Fortunately for you, I’ve narrowed down the list to the top 4 best summer vacation spots.

Destination spots are in no specific order.

Havana, Cuba

If you’re looking for a Caribbean vacation spot to get away from all the hustle and bustle then Cuba is the perfect island for that. It was only recently that the citizens of the US were able to visit and it’s definitely worth it. Spectacular beaches, delicious food, and rich culture. What more can you ask for? A typical night a hotel or house can go anywhere from $45 to $100 a night depending on the area and dates you’re planning on going. When searching for flights, it’s best to fly from big airports with many international flights a day. Create a budget each day for food and activities so you don’t overspend.

Grand Canyon, Arizona

If you or your family love the outdoors, then the Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona is the best place to go. Between breathtaking sceneries and hiking trails, this UNESCO World Heritage site is one you won’t regret to visit! After hiking, you can stop by the Havasu Falls at the park and take a refreshing dip so bring your swimsuits. Plus, it only costs $18 to camp there! Sounds like an affordable vacation to me. When camping It’s best to bring your own food to save money which also means s’mores for desserts.

Lisbon, Portugal

If you love exploring new cities and completely different cultures then Lisbon, Portugal is at the top of your list. The best thing about this city is that you can go from exploring castles to sunbathing on the beach in only 20 minutes. Lisbon is a very vibrant city and rich in European culture and the best part? It’s completely affordable to visit. Hotels and Airbnb’s costs anywhere between $35 to $100 a night! And no, you won’t be staying at a hostel sharing the kitchen and bathroom with everyone there. Though they do have extremely affordable hostels as well. You can go sailing on a boat with the kids or just yourself for only $30! Sounds like a plan?

Bangkok, Thailand

Asia has so many wonders and Thailand is one of them. Over the last couple of years, this country has become a sensation for millennials! If you or your family are looking to completely branch out and try something new and even scary then Thailand is the place to go. It might not be the most affordable flight but once you’re in Thailand it is completely inexpensive. They have affordable 3 to 4-star hotels starting at $85 a night or luxurious Airbnb’s starting at only $40 a night. Some of them are even all-inclusive! If you want to truly immerse yourself in the culture, get out of the hotel and get street food for cheap! If you want to get out of the city then visit the Phi Phi Islands. Temples, beaches or city life, Thailand has it all.

If you’re choosing any of these destinations, or have another one on the agenda, keep our Kelapo Coconut Oil, Ghee and 50/50 Blend packets in mind. They’re perfect for traveling since they’re travel-sized! No more worrying about finding your favorite products overseas!
