My own personal menu from Victoria & Albert's.
While I don’t normally review restaurants on the blog, I like to highlight ones that are truly incredible. This weekend, my husband and I went to Victoria & Alberts at Disney’s Grand Floridian hotel in Orlando.
I have been wanting to visit this 5-Diamond Michelin-rated restaurant for years, and my expectations were sky high. All the reviews I’ve read have said that although this place is very pricey, it is actually worth it. I was a little worried that my high expectations would leave me disappointed.
Somehow, this restaurant EXCEEDED every expectation. I can’t even describe how good the food was, and the service was impeccable (Our servers were actually a sweet married couple!) There were so many cool little touches, but I won’t ruin every surprise, in case you may go there someday.
I will say that we were glad we did some upgrades (Kobe beef was out of this world) and the wine pairings are a must (the pours were very generous, and they even topped us off a few times! We got our money’s worth of wine for sure.) While we just did the seven-course tasting menu, there is a 12-course option as well. I don’t know how I could have possibly eaten any more than I did. Even my 6’4” husband said he was absolutely stuffed and that is not an easy feat!
For anyone considering visiting this restaurant: If you can afford it, GO. You will not regret it!
